Shadowgrass Austin Concert reviews
Too frenetic
The show was haphazard with no female back-up voices and a cursory review through his classic hits, lacking clarity. Steve Winwood played riffs that were clearly heard and enjoyed by most, while it is enjoyable at times to hear his mixed riffs. Shadowgrass has a style that is fine for a while but would tire the concert goer before the finish. Some things could be fixed as the tour just started. It would have been nice to get Steve out for a few numbers later in the show. The show was good, even though it was not great, it could have been much better.
